CLASSIC PEOPLE is a celebration of vintage photography from the 1890s through the 1950s focused on people. You'll find formal portraits, wedding photos and group posed photos (including team sports). You'll also discover people doing things, like marching in parades, picnicing, vacationing at the beach or just hanging around their homes.



This collection was carefully scanned from original source vintage photographs and negatives to provide superior resolution images more suitable for enlargements and high quality reproductions.  They originate from a variety of amateur and professional photographers.  Because of their source material, 95% are exclusive to our collection. Compare these to other collections you find on the web offered in small sizes and low resolutions. They are often merely reofferings of the same images, repackaged. If they offer thousands of photos on a CD, they are low resolution scans.



These images are NOT model released. Generally, they can be used for editorial, personal and other non-commercial usage. Some of the photos have been dedusted and cleaned up, others have not and depending on your use, you may want to apply dedusting filters or other techniques to prepare them for your use.

 

The collection is royalty free and the images may be used in any project without additional payment  so long as they are not used in part or whole for other clip art or stock photography collections.
